This presentation educates and empowers parents, and other adults, to keep children safe in the digital age. Adults can feel overwhelmed and/or intimidated by children’s exposure to the internet including the potential for exposure to inappropriate content, helping children manage and navigate a “reasonable” amount of screen-time, and the potential for children’s safety and privacy to be compromised. Let ABC House help! The 90 minute training covers topics such as: how to proactively participate in children’s internet experience, how to utilize parental controls and additional protection measures, cyber bullying, screen time, adult content, online predators, safety measures for kids who use social media/gaming, as well as gaming and internet addictions.
Light refreshments are provided. Childcare is not available.
