As the situation with the novel coronavirus/COVID-19 continues to evolve and we begin to feel its impact closer to home, we would like to share with you our immediate steps for ensuring that our clients, employees and all who visit ABC House stay healthy and safe. As you know, we serve the most vulnerable members of our community; our child clients’ wellbeing and that of the adults who support them remains our top priority. Community Education

 We believe that prevention education is the key to ending child abuse. ABC House offers a multi-faceted community outreach program that includes practical training programs for adult professionals and community members to learn to prevent, identify and respond to concerns of child abuse;  school presentations to educate students on ways to stay safer, and Girls Circle support groups for at-risk teenage girls to develop healthy self-esteem and resilience. All educational programming is offered in both Benton and Linn counties and is offered at no cost to attendees.
